That is probably one of the most confused and inaccurate perceptions of what the descriptive label Alpha refers to in the Male character. It may further muddle your misinformed mind to learn that there are many Alphas that are sexually submissive. An Alpha in the simplest terms is a man naturally suited to L Leading others and who other men will be instinctually toward following and perceiving as someone they want to be accepted by with characteristics they respect and feel they might learn.from

Alpha's are by definition insecure in their identity otherwise they wouldn't feel the need to overcompensate. So yeah if they aren't punching down they might lose their confidence.
