So this young girl, who's a very devout Catholic, dies, and immediately goes to Heaven. Saint Peter is giving her the fifty cent tour, showing her around, answering questions, and such. He mentions to her at one point that "So, hey, if you want to talk to anyone, a friend or relative who's already here, maybe a distant ancestor, historical figure, anybody at all, just ask, and we'll get them to you."

She immediately asks, "Do you mean ANYbody? Like I could even talk to the Holy Mother if I asked?"

Saint Peter tells her sure, and asks if she wants to talk to the Holy Mother, the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God. When the girl says she wants that more than anything, he tells her it's no problem. A small blue light appears in the sky, off in the distance, and it gets larger and brighter as it approaches, until, a moment later, the Holy Mother is standing there in front of them.

The girl is awestruck, amazed, and happier than she's ever been. After some initial awkwardness, she finally finds her voice, and asks, "Please, I've always wondered, can you, would you, tell me, what was it like, being the mother of the saviour of the world?"

The Holy Mother answers, "Vell, to tell ya da trut', ve vere kind of hoping for a doctor, maybe a lawyer, but, you take vat ya get."

So this skunk walks into a bar, and goes to the bartender: "Hey! Where'd everybody go?"
