I have always been attracted to black and mixed-race women from my teens onwards. (I made the mistake of openly admitting this to my friendship group in my mid-teens and was bullied for it for many years.) Anyway, I live in a relatively small town in southern Hampshire, England.

From that moment on, over the next couple of weeks, I visited that store merely for the opportunity to unobtrusively gaze upon her, even if only from the vantage point of a relatively distant shop aisle... I still had inhibitions at that time and was concerned about the social consequences if, hypothetically, I were to strike up a conversation with her, flirt, or if one thing were to lead to another...
