We made it through the storm OK; other than loosing electric power and internet for four days.
I've been through several hurricanes before, mor serious and destructive, before i move to florida. Been here 20 years and this was our first real hurricane.
I've had enough of candlelight - but now logging on here makes my life bright.

You make a fair point, and well written.
As I am, one of those you accuse ( eh,, just kidding, no offense or misunderstood taken.. just trying to communicate my truths..)
I'd say, firstly, that I have written a big text-back when I was first logged in IF, about Identity and fluidity,, you might read it on my blog, if, in the mood and have some spare time..
Otherwise, let's sum it here.
For me there are no genders.. I mean, sure, we born, with some genitals, male-female- in rare cases both.. but, how we feel, and what we would like to be, or become some day,, is not a constant. But an ever-changing feeling-procedure..
Anywhom ever.. I'm one of those, who have included their own photos, as an Avatar, from time to time, not a dick, or a pussy ( I don't have one of those,, jus' saying), and I have even, made a gallery of Avatars, I alternate from time to time...
All in all, I understand your point of view,,
but when you say f.e. ''an Avatar should at least identify personality''
I rather disagree.. it mainly and foremost, identifies mood, for me...
So, when I put some girl, for my Av. - usually pornstars, whose sets I upload, now and then,, It might mean I wanna be with them, see them fuck other girls, or even be them,, or none of the above..
Sure its a bit chaotic.... but that's the nature of Ifap and other electronic means of communication in general..
Look it also this way: we never know who are we talking wiith, even if someone says that's their avatar, a static picture, is not proof enough of anything.
