"Her parents have long maintained a Corporal Punishment policy in the family home, just as it was in her parent's homes as they grew up. Two channels of punishment were maintained; Immediate and Scheduled. Immediate punishments were mainly delivered in the home for misdemeanours, such as cleanliness, behavior or mere attitude.
