An old man got on a bus,
but there were no empty
seats. So he stands, leaning
on his walking stick for support.
Suddenly, the bus brakes
hard and he loses his balance.
A young man, sitting nearby
says, 'If you had a rubber tip
on the end of your walking
stick, that wouldn't have
happened.'
The old man smiled and
replied,
'If your father had taken
the same advice, I'd
have had a seat.
