We’re approaching Halloween, so I’ll be dedicating a few short galleries to several of my favourite horror movies, adding ’deleted’ scenes. First stop HAS to be The Blair Witch Project, in its famous grainy 'found footage' style. We all know the deeply scary ending of the movie in the building, but we certainly could have a dream sequence in which Heather Donahue - definitely the toughest of the three - seems to wake up and encounters the witch outside, getting immediately under her spell and becoming a helpless victim of her lustful, erotic whims. Finally she wakes up, in a confusing mix of terror, shame, and arousal. It was all just a dream. Or was it …?
