Trishna Kathleen Helmick (born 14 December 1988 in India as Meena Kanwar) is an Indian-born American acomplished singer, actress and beauty pageant. She is the daughter of director Sohanlal Kanwar. Born in India. Changed her name from Meena Kanwar to Trishna for her career. Adopted from India when she was 1 year old to a family in Ohio, USA. Sister of actress Anita Kanwar. Graduated from the #1 contemporary music college in the world: Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Ranked top 15 in the Miss Ohio USA 2011 Pageant competition sponsored by Donald Trump. Was a soccer player and was going to play in college, but chose to pursue music instead. Since her graduation, she has worked with several different producers, managers, and artists. Past performances include major events such as performing at the Recording Academy, Major Red Carpet appearances, TV/Brand print/commercials, and signing the National Anthem to a sold out crowd of over 90,000 people for Monday Night NFL.
