I am from Amsterdam, and over here we totally respect people’s choices about their gender identity. Having said that, I liked Ellen Page so much more than Elliot Page! I absolutely loved Ellen in Inception as Ariadne, the petite architect of dreams. She runs into several confrontations with Mal (played by Marion Cotillard), the beautiful ex-wife of Cobb. My fantasy was triggered by the undeniable tension between the tiny, nerdy, obviously lesbian Ariadne and the classy female Mal. So I envisioned Ariadne going back into a specially designed white dream theatre, just to meet Mal and do things with her that she - well - dreamed of. But she should have been careful what she wished for: inexperienced as she is, she loses control and becomes a plaything for the wimps of the seductive Mal. Some dream indeed!
