You all seemed to like Sarah Connor quite a lot? Well, who doesn’t! To me she is a true icon of the ’80s, certainly also in Terminator 1, in which she still is this playful, naive young woman. She lives in a small apartment with her bubbly roommate and best friend Ginger. At the beginning of the movie she leaves the apartment when Ginger’s boyfriend Matt arrives for a night of fun. What my new deleted scene shows is wat happened before: Ginger comforts and then ’cheers’ up Sarah after her date was cancelled last minute - making up more than sufficiently for the lack of love for Sarah that evening. What are best friends otherwise for? Seems this may not be their first time anyway … Afterwards, Ginger is all warmed up and ready to go for Matt and a very satisfied Sarah leaves the house - just moments before the Terminator arrives. Well, guess you all know the rest of the movie … At the end, all what remains is a sweet, sultry memory.
