The other day I was in a shopping mail and I kid you not: there was already Halloween merchandise! We’re still in the middle of a hot summer, but fine. It did remind me of the 1978 slasher horror movie Halloween, in which a young Jamie Lee Curtis made world-wide fame as a ’scream queen’. In the movie, her insane brother Michael Myers is after her - but first kills several other people. Among them Laurie’s very best friend Annie, daughter of the sheriff. It never becomes clear why Michael killed her, but I have a theory - and with that another ’deleted scene’ for the movie. As in many movies from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s there is a lot of talk about sex, but not much of it actually happens. I believe Laurie and Annie, being such close friends, had developed a little sexy routine. They would often ’practice’ at Laurie’s home, just some innocent yet hot fun, saving themselves for their later husbands as BFFs with Benefits. Michael obviously did not condone this, so during yet another wild afternoon of secret lust between the two girlfriends, he watched them - almost getting caught. Then, when Annie finally left for her own home in the evening, he took the opportunity. For the rest, well, just watch the movie :)
