A (fictional) historical account of Thomas Durant's building of the Trans-continental railroad. Although it is true that Durant debunked the US government of millions of dollars and allowed 'Hell on Wheels,' a series of railcars filled with saloons and brothels to follow the newly laid tracks, there is no record that I am aware of that he took over small towns or abducted women off his own company trains. This is just another of my 'what if' fictional histories.
