Telma Huld Jóhannesdóttir (born 1994 on Iceland) is an Icelandic-born actress, director, 2nd unit director, producer and casting producer. Telma has a background in dancing and has been acting from a young age. She has appeared in numerousbest known for her leading role as Lóa in From Iceland to Eden (2019). She holds a BA in Filmmaking from the Iceland University of the Arts and studied acting at Le Cours Florent in Paris. She made her screen debut in Webcam (2015). Other notable roles include the comedy series Flamingo Bar (2024-) and the international feature The Finnish Line (2024). Telma also works behind the camera as a writer, director, and producer. Her debut short film, Icelandic People Believe in Elves, won the Most Creative Film Award at the Films That Inspire festival. She speaks Icelandic and English fluently and has conversational skills in Danish and French.
