Camila Pitanga Manhães Sampaio (born on June 14, 1977 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a Brazilian actress, former model, producer and presenter. She became known in 1988 as Clubete, stage assistant to the presenter Angélica in the program Clube da Criança da Rede defunnte Manchete. As an actress, she debuted in 1993, playing one of the protagonists of Sex Appeal, referencing other consistent roles in Fera Wounded, A Proxima Victim, Pecado Capital and in the second and third seasons Malhação. In 2001, she was elevated to the first echelon of actors of Rede Globo when she was climbed as an antagonist of the main product of the station, the "noela das eight" Porto dos Milagres. She has starred on the TV shows BelÃssima, ParaÃso Tropical and Insensato Coração as well as in films such as Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury, Noel: The Samba Poet and Mulheres do Brasil. She is internationally renowned for her roles in film and television. In film, she is known for her roles in Quilombo, Caramuru: A Invenção do Brasil, Redeemer, I'd Receive the Worst News from Your Beautiful Lips, Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury, among others. In television, she is known for her roles in ParaÃso Tropical, Cama DE Gato, Lado a Lado, Babilônia, and Velho Chico.
