Queen Anne of Tudor was well-known for her preference for female lovers. In the movie The Favourite, two of her top courtisanes (lady Sarah Churchill and her niece Abigail, played by Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone) compete for her attention. There is an obvious animosity between the two blood relatives, and it’s all based on real-life events! I was just thinking, the nieces may have decided to settle the matter for once and for all. In bed, mano a mano, in a hot, long, exhausting night. Who would dominate, the more experienced evil Sarah or the younger, energetic Abigail? Maybe you’ll have to see the movie to find out who really prevailed :) Anyway, gave me the opportunity to bring back my Rembrandt / Caravaggio style of AI ‘painting’. Hope you like watching this spectacle unfold. I know Queen Anne would have!
