Cornelia Zink has been a permanent member of the music theatre ensemble of the Mecklenburg State Theatre since the 2021/2022 season. The soprano studied voice at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. From 2005 to 2014 she was engaged in the ensemble of the Staatstheater Cottbus and from 2017 to 2019 she was a member of the ensemble at the Nationaltheater Mannheim. Her most important roles include the title roles in Lucia di Lammermoor, La traviata, Hansel and Gretel, Offenbach's Die schöne Helena, as well as Pamina (The Magic Flute), Musetta (La BohÃame), Adele (The Bat), Cunegonde in Bernstein's Candide and Antonia in Hoffmann's Tales. Cornelia Zink regularly makes guests at the Komische Oper Berlin, Hamburg State Opera, the Hanover State Opera, the Staatstheater Braunschweig, the Munich State Theatre at Gärtnerplatz and at the Mannheim National Theatre. In addition to overall CD recordings, the live recordings by Der Bettelstudent and Der Vogelhändler mit Cornelia Zink in the female lead leading role as part of the Mörbisch DVDs were recently made as part of the sea festival. In the season 2023/2024, she can be experienced, among others, as Mimi in La Bohéme, MicaÃ3la in Carmen, Alice in and in SANCTA [working title], the production of and with Florentina Holzinger.
