Ulla Koppel was born on March 18, 1948 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is an actress, known for Quiet Days in Clichy (1970), I Love Blue (Jeg elsker blåt, 1968) and The Hour of Parting (Afskedens time, 1973). She has been married to composer Anders Koppel since August 11, 1969. They have three children. In her youth, Ulla Koppel worked at various amateur theaters and then at the Odense Teater in Odense. Before attending drama school, she also worked as a prompter at Copenhagen's Boldhus Theater. Koppel grew up in an artistic and musical family, which brought her into contact with music and singing at an early age and also gave her piano lessons.
