These are images generated with Stable Diffusion -- a cloud server with some tweaks -- and inspired by the life of Patricia Highsmith, a brilliant mid century writer ("The Talented Mr Ripley") and screenwriter ("Strangers on a Train"). She was also one of the most aggressive and fun loving lesbians, in a closeted age, she was exuberantly on a pussy hunt . . . the photography, or rather the AI generated ersatz photography, is based on examples from the Life photographers, from Paul Outerbridge, from dye transfer color printing techniques of the 1940s and 50s. Reminds me a bit of the kitschy art of Jack Vettriano, also inspired by Nancy Drew book covers . . .
