Add a description of the contents of your gallery, so it will be more visible for other users. Remember that you can also add descriptions to each image.

In the interests of better presentation, I offer a short series, with a passing relevance to 'cropping'. I do it a lot - my galleries are distinctive for that reason. The intention of any such modification is to make an image have impact on the viewer, by eliminating extraneous matter [cutting out the crud]. Even the first one here has had some attention - follow them all and see if there are points you would like to adopt, all in the pursuit of more enjoyable galleries of improved quality of course. . . . . . . I have read somewhere that pictures uploaded are ones taken by professionals, or at least by someone who knows what they are doing. Not most of the ones I see . . .
