The digital media gigants not caring about privacy - we’re shocked!

They said that one reason for the success of Fifty shades of gray was digital books. E-books meant that women could sitt in public and read erotica and no one would know. No book cover would show the world what they read. But you know now, if you have a Good read page and use Amazon Kindle the Good read page will tell the world what books you read on Kindle. It should be embarrassing if Goodreads showed that you read a sex book.
Amazon actually recommended the book She comes first, that seems to be about exactly what you think it's about. But if I bought and downloaded that book, Goodreads would show I read it to anyone searching my name, for example future employers. Now that might not be the worst thing, but what about other erotic books?
Ps. on Google books I have read one erotic novel, my ex-teacher wrote it. Maybe Google books, too shows what you read?
