"In real life" a small number* of the metoo stories was on the scale "a man asked if he could kiss me". Here it is fine to write "I want your pussy!", or worse, to a woman.

My wife was a teenager in the 1970's. My god the stories she has which were just considered men being men are far worse than many "Me too" stories.
My mom in her old age told stories about how men behaved in the 1950's and 60's.
Can you imagine men , (this was in a large corporation) crowding at the bottom of the steps cheering and grading women in skirts as they walked up the stairway? That was OK back then, hard to imagine it.
