One reason I didn’t traveled this semester was that I thought “Nothing will turn out as I hope. I can dream that things will happen during journeys, including sex things with a female bartender, but it won't, so why travel?”.
But that’s probably immature thinking. It’s mature to know that nothing ever happens the way you hope, but immature to don’t do avoid doing things for that reason. Also for fun I could add that for obvious reason things are less likely to happen the more specific they are. If I hope my next neighbor should be a 27 year old Korean girl, who study biochemistry and has tattooed arms, I’m very likely to be disappointed. Well, if, now after I have written this, my next neighbor will be a 27 year old Korean girl, who study biochemistry and has tattooed arms, I’ll think that the universe is trying to drive me crazy.
