A local college hired me for a job to take pictures of a regional Cheerleading competition that was happening on their campus. I never really thought much of cheerleaders (you know the ditzy blonde stereo-type), but while I was doing the shoot, I saw how talented and athletic these girls and guys are. They were doing some amazing moves, and a few times I thhought to myself they pull off some of the acrobatic moves that they do?
As I made my way around the gym, I saw a cheerleader standing around the mat area in between routines and I was curious, so I asked her about the competion, how points were scored, stuff like that.
