And THIS is why it's so hard to completely trust anyone. I no longer believe that what anyone says to me is the absolute truth. Especially when it comes to where they are, where they've been, or how they feel about things. I understand that people lie to themselves, and if pressed, will repeat that lie to others. It's a self-preservation mechanism that we all have. But that doesn't mean that I have to tolerate it.
