I know that many of you might have noticed that I pulled quite a few of my caption stories from my Imagefap profile. I think I owe it to everyone to make sure that you know why.
A couple of years ago, I was faced with an incredible hardship. Diagnosed with leukemia, my ability to work my "real" job was compromised, which resulted in financial difficulties. I'm sure that anybody who's been through chemotherapy can empathize with the struggles associated with trying to deal with cancer. I had to little choice but to confront the cold, hard truth that I had to figure out how to do something else. The leukemia, which is chronic (and the side effects of the medication), isn't going away. I'll have to deal with it for the rest of my life.
Looking down the barrel of ever-increasing debt, I struggled to keep pace at my job. Soon, though, it became clear that I had to make some changes. One of those was to try to tap into my work's popularity, and after a year or so of trying different monetization models, I settled on Patreon.
So here's what I came up with. My single captions (which comprise the bulk of my work) are available to everyone. I hope you'll all continue to enjoy them as I intend to keep that particular train going. However, my longer-form, multi-frame caption stories will only be available to my Patreon supporters ($10 pledge or more). I have to give people an incentive to lend their financial support, and being a wholly unique product, I think my caption stories fit the bill.
Doing this has allowed me to keep a pretty aggressive publishing schedule (which you can find HERE ), and I've already made twenty-five stories available to my Patreon supporters. However, unless I meet my financial goals (as published on my Patreon page), I won't be able to maintain that schedule. So, if you'd like to get access to those stories (and help support my creation of new material), please click the following link:
