A lot of bleeding-heart Libs didn't take the threat of 'Restitution Laws' seriously. I think they badly underestimated the number of white males who cared more about owning a pretty brown sex slave to use than they did any of the professed values of 'Universal Human Dignity' and the 'Fundamental Rights of all People'.
The very same otherwise decent men who marched to save endangered animals, and Defund the Police, were secretly voting into congress candidates who were pledged to expand the early rather limited Restitution Laws.
The demand for these laws outstripped the outrage and disbelief of the minority populations.
