Actually, the law was stricter and \r\nmore ambiguous than that. It stated \r\nthat while in bondage no pleasure \r\ncould be given or received. The \r\nlanguage was so broad that it couldn\'t \r\nbe enforced. For example, a woman \r\nmight receive pleasure just from being \r\ntied up (I do) and that has nothing to do \r\nwith actual sex. So the govt was in a \r\nposition where they could not charge \r\nnor enforce the law.
