Antigoni Amanitou (sometimes credited as Antigone Amanitou; born in Athens, Greece) is a Greek actress and stage director. She is is known for 1922 (1978), Blind Date (1984) and I kondra (1983). Greek is her native language. Also fluent in English and French. Directed and translated Agnès Jaoui's and Jean-Pierre Bacri's play "Kitchen and Addictions" ("Cuisine et dépendances") with Panagiotis Klinis, Marina Polymeri, Alexandros Sotiriou and Polydoros Vogiatzis and Lemonia Giannaridou in the cast. Her career started with To Noumero (1979) and ended on the big screen with Blind Date (1984), not to be confused with the comedy of the same name. This slasher flick marks the sole skin exposure from Antigone, but her little darlings sure look perky when she comes out of the shower, though they’re not as innocent on the slab of a madman who draws lines over her naked chest.
