Guido Crepax, born Guido Crepas on July 15, 1933, was an Italian graphic artist and comic book artist. He died on July 31, 2003. His most important works were the Valentina series (1968-2001), Bianca, and adaptations of the following authors: Robert Louis Stevenson, Franz Kafka, Mary W. Shelley, Henry James, Bram Stoker, Marquis Donatien Alphonse de Sade, Giacomo Casanova, Emanuelle Arsan, Pauline Réage. His themes were therefore both fantastical and erotic. Maledom and femdom are balanced.
