Josipa Bubaš (born on November 1st 1979 in Gospić, Lika-Senj County, Croatia) is a Croatian performing artist and author which creates performance forms that use the vocabulary of physical theater and contemporary dance. She has performed a number of performances at festivals and in gallery, museum and public spaces. She is the author of a number of professional texts as well as interviews with contemporary visual artists. She was a Professor of Art History, Academy of Dramatic Arts, Zagreb and many more workshops. In 2008 Josipa graduated from the Department of Art History and the Department of English at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. She got a PhD at the University of Zadar (Interdisciplinary Humanities), topic: Performance of Physicality or Physicality of Performance in 2020.
