Pamela Helen Stephenson Connolly (born on December 4, 1949 in Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand) is a New Zealand-born writer, actress and lecturer on psychology. She is married to legendary UK comedian and actor Billy Connolly (Dain Ironfoot in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies and Xenophilius Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows among other roles) and the couple has three children. She is an actress and writer, known for Superman III (1983), Mel Brooks's History of the World: Part I (1981) and Not the Nine O'Clock News (1979). She wound down her career in the late 1980s after appearing in the movies Les Patterson Saves the World (1987) and Ghosts CAN Do It (1987) and the TV series Ratman. Her final acting role came in a 1994 episode of Columbo. Pamela now resides in the U.S. with her husband, legendary UK comedian Billy Connolly, where she enjoys life as Dr. Stephenson Connolly, distinguished lecturer on psychology.
