Ingvild Gumpen Engesland (born 26th Mart 1982 in Kristiansand) is Norwegian cross-country skier. She made her international debut without major success at the Nordic Junior World Championships 2001 in Karpacz. Her best result was a second place in a FIS race in February 2006 in Crested Butte as well as a fifth place in the Continental Cup race in February 2004 in Soldier Hollow. She is part of the Norwegian National Team since 2001. In 2002, England became Norwegian vice-champion in the duathlon. Ingvild, then 22-year-old looked excited when she posed for the Norwegian porn magazine Lek. According to her own statements, she poses for the magazine, in which such pictures are published again and again, without this causing a great deal of oversight, without any problems. However, as the criticism grew stronger, she took the opportunity to explain her regret for these images. She wants to be remembered as an athlete and not because of the pictures. In addition, an interview belonging to the pictures was apparently given incorrectly.
