Alberta Nelson (1937–2006) was an actress and model, and, of course, one of Goldfoot’s robots. She was different from the other robots, though, in that she was “the reject,” a leather-jacketed, possibly Lesbian butch fembot who was created by accident by Goldfoot’s incompetent assistant. This was actually an in-joke. The beautiful Ms. Nelson had a career as in beach party movies as a female member of a outlaw motorcycle gang. Her role as biker chick was played entirely for laughs, and she was gifted comedian. Later, she would have roles on TV in the Andy Griffin show, among other places.
