Ever since the young Dutch Designer Meike van Schijndel had created her "Kisses" Urinal in 2002 there is steaming hot controversy spreading wolrdwide. It can pop up any moment and there will be no end to the controversy. Therefore I also took it as the emblematic representation of our club "Porno-Sexuality" as it embodies the very challenging qualities of pornography, its very filthy characteristics, the sleazy aspects. Throughout the world they will tell you the "Kisses" urinoir is a male design created for misogynist ends to educate men into pissing into female mouths. But what is really so misogynist about it? From New York in the United States to circumpolar Sweden, from wealthy Germany to post-Brexit England, from virgin Austria to meridional Australia pseudo-feminist initiatives have staged loud and powerfully voiced protests to dis-install the "Kisses" urinoir. Well, that's what you shall believe. But the truth is this has been created by a young Dutch woman who had just finished design school in California the year before. And her intention was to shake up the sterile traditional washroom, not alone men's washrooms, but women's washrooms as well. Why didn't she become a feminist icon? As she vigorously invaded male washrooms to change a sterile world into a hotbed of sensuality and hedonism. Didn't she succeed in creating a roaring controversy? Young women are much more powerful than you might think.
