Pardon the cliche plot device in this caption series. I decided to use the old "took Viagra on accident" dialogue for a few reasons. 1) Pharmacy student, so it was intriguing for me the first time I saw that excuse used in videos/captions. 2) It works. It's easy to write. 3) I've never personally written a caption series with that hook and I thought it'd be fun.
Public service announcement: Priapism is NOT a joking matter. It is a serious condition and a medical emergency. Permanent damage and painful complications can arise from priapism. For those unaware, priapism is essentially an erection sustained for extended periods of time, with dangerous effects potentially arising at about 4 hours, despite a lack of stimulation. Sickle cell anemia and medication-induced ischemic priapism are the most common causes. While not nearly as common, clitoral priapism does occasionally occur in women.
