A young woman twisting, turning, yelling and crying on a crude cross deep in the forest. Held captive with another, who will meet the same end with her, Alice sits naked on the damp, dirty ground awaiting her fate. A sturdy pole is lashed to outstretched arms and she's compelled to walk bearing the device, to a tree on which she will be hanged naked. There the bar is raised and tied to the tree-trunk, leaving feet flailing in the air, until they too are bound tightly to that vertical pole. Then the real struggle begins, as she must twist and turn every which way in vain attempts to alleviate the all-encompassing pain which a stretched and straining body must suffer and endure, when hanging crucified.
