Anne-Marie Cadieux (born September 23, 1961 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Quebec theatre, film and television actress. She is an actress and director, known for The Confessional (1995), Le coeur au poing (1998) and Nô (1998). Her father owned a foreign film theater in Ottawa named Bytowne. She used to work there when she was 15. The theater still exists and is located on Rideau st. Her sister, Genevieve Cadieux, is a famous photographer in Canada. Her aunt Nicole Lapointe, alias Isabelle Pierre, was a very popular singer in Quebec in the 1960s and 1970s. Anne-Marie Cadieux made her debut at the age of eighteen at the Théâtre de la Vieille 17, then worked at the National Arts Centre, under the direction of André Brassard, for a few years.
