Just after Christmas my best friend was away with work when his wife asked me to come over and fix their plumbing. When I got there she was dressed very skimpily in lingerie, gloves and high heeled boots. She said the plumbing had fixed itself but invited me to sit down for a drink. Over the drink she whined on about how bored she got when her husband was away. All the while she sat opposite me and almost deliberately spread her legs for me to see. I suggested she read a good book or watch a film on the TV, thanked her for the drink and went home.nYet, I can't help thinking there was something else she was trying to tell me. All that about plumbing fixing itself, her odd way or sitting and her husband being away; there was some hidden meaning to all this, very mysterious I thought to myself.
