    Martina Preissová, née Stehlíková, formerly also Válková (born October 31, 1975 in Znojmo, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]) is a Czech theater, television and film actress. She is an actress, known for Redakce (2004), Útek do Budína (2002) and The Fury (2016). She is a permanent member of the drama troupe of the National Theater in Prague. After graduating from secondary school of pedagogy, she studied acting at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, which she graduated in 1998. Already during her studies, she performed as a guest at the National Theater in Brno, and subsequently got a permanent job there (1998–2000). After a two-year guest appearance at the National Theater in Prague, she has been a permanent member of the local drama since 2000 and also performs as a guest on other Prague stages. She was nominated twice (1999, 2004) for the Thalia Award.
