Esther Rosita Oosterbeek (born September 2, 1959 in Haarlem, Noord-Holland, Netherlands )is a Dutch former singer, mainly known as one of members of the female pop band the Dolly Dots. She has been a make-up artist since 1998. osterbeek was born into a family with a brother and a sister. After training at the LEAO in Haarlem, she became a technical purchasing assistant at a dredging company. Her musical career initially started as a member of the group The Surfers. They scored a hit in 1978 in the three hit charts on the national public pop channel Hilversum 3; (the Dutch Top 40, National Hit Parade and the TROS Top 50) with "Windsurfin". She also became a dancer in the TROS pop program on television (Netherlands 2) Rock Planet / TROS Top 50, but she ultimately became best known as one of the singers from the Dolly Dots. After the group's dissolution in 1988, Oosterbeek decided to remain involved in the artist world. Initially she tried this by designing clothes and doing styling, but in the end it turned out that working as a make-up artist suited her best. She works as a make-up artist for a wide range of famous and lesser-known Dutch people. She has also been a regular make-up artist at De Toppers for many years. In 2016, the Dots reunited once again to give a guest performance at De Toppers in the Amsterdam Arena on May 13, 14 and 15, 2016. In 2019, Oosterbeek was featured as one of the 100-member jury in the television program All Together Now. In 2021, Oosterbeek participated in De Alleskunner VIPS on SBS6.
