Silk and Mortar is New Orleans based band, which released theiry first single Moving Parts on Youtube this Febuary. Silk and Mortar fuses influences from soul, jazz, hip hop, rock, and latin music into a concoction of passionate, heavy hitting original sound. This ever-evolving collaboration consists of core band members Luke Palmer, David Gilman, Jamey Thomson, and Simone Maya. Wth the understanding that we exist as a small and fragmented part of this giant universe, Silk and Mortar uses creativity to further fuel their navigation through Space and Time, all that is unknown and all that will come into fruition. The singer-basist Simone Maya posed fully naked in this set I found on internet. DO NOT MIX with US ebony singer Maya Simone!
