Miu Nakamura (仲村みう born March 14, 1991 in Aomori, Iwate Prefecture, Japan) is a former actress and Japanese tarento and gravure idol. After middle school, she decided not to take the high school entrance exam, and instead chose to focus on her modelling career. In July 2006, she won the title of “Miss Young Magazine”. However, towards the end of 2007, rumours about her leaving the idol industry began to spread and she didn’t appear in public for several months. Since returning, she has focused more on music, acting and voice-acting as well as modelling. Her career as a singer is now beginning to be genuinely successful, her album Stand My Ground with its gothic rather than pop overtones selling well in Asia even outside Japan. On February 25, 2012, she announced on her Twitter account that she will fully retire from the showbiz. After that, her Twitter account and her official blog were completely deleted. On September 2012, she revealed that she is now married and have a baby. In she anounced her return to scene with several hair nude full-frontal photo shoots. But soon we get even grater news, “Fade In” is released on the Muteki label, which specializes in idols and celebrities making the switch to porn careers.
