Alexa von Porembsky (5 June 1906 in Sopron, Austria-Hungary - 18 August 1981 in Berlin, Germany) was a Hungarian-born German actress. She took acting lessons from Gertrud Eysoldt and made her stage debut in 1925 as the Köhlerjunge in a performance of Das Käthchen von Heilbronn at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. She danced in Erik Charell's revues and sang chansons by Rudolf Nelson and Victor Hollaender. She posed as a nude model for the Art Nouveau artist Emil Orlik. From 1928 she also used to act in movies and in film - mostly in supporting roles: she played maids, market women, secretaries and neighbors. By 1961 she had appeared in a total of 32 films.She acted in movies like: Zimmer 12 a (1931), Der Diamant des Zaren (1932), Woman's Love—Woman's Suffering (1937), The Leghorn Hat (1939) and I Entrust My Wife to You (1943).
