Elisabetta Cavallotti (born in Bologna, 1 July 1967) is an Italian actress. After her theater debut in 1982 in Luigi Pirandello's La patente, Elisabetta Cavallotti devoted herself mainly to cinema. Among the films in which she starred are: The graduates (1995), Look at me AKA Guardami (1999), Bad inclinations (2003). She also appeared in TV series such as Don Matteo, Un posto al sole (the first soap opera filmed in Italy) and Capri. In 1999 she was part of the cast of the film Guardami, directed by Davide Ferrario, in which some non-simulated sex scenes struck public opinion and critics. The actress, defined as "the star of the day at the Venice Film Festival", at the release of the film declared her discomfort in shooting her: It's not fun to shoot porn films, but it was a challenge. However, I don't have the feeling that my film was exploited for commercial purposes. In the same year Guardami was presented in competition at the David di Donatello. The actress then shot several other films, the last of which in 2021 entitled her You only live once, directed by Carlo Verdone. In September 2020 she won the Reggio Calabria Film Fest as "Best Actress" for the film War in Cuba. The film was presented in numerous festivals and exhibitions, including the "Los Angeles Italia Film Festival". Shw is descendant of the politician and poet Felice Cavallotti.
