Wiltrud Schreiner (born 1967 in Steyr) is an Austrian actress. Schreiner trained as an actress at the Vienna Conservatory. She then had her first engagement at the Theater der Jugend and at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna. In 1993 she moved to the Grazer Schauspielhaus, where she stayed until 1998, after which she worked as a guest, e.g. at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg. From 2000 to 2007 she had a permanent engagement at the Bremen Theater. There she acted under the direction of Karin Henkel (A Streetcar Named Desire, In the Alps, A Dance of Death), Michael Talke (The Jew of Malta, The Conspiracy of Fiesco in Genoa, Herr Puntila and his servant Matti, The Darkness in the Glass), Nicolai Sykosch (Lantana, Cafe Umberto, The Rats), Klaus Schumacher (The Festival), Hans Kresnik (Vogeler, America), Markus Dietz (Summer Guests), Thomas Bischoff (Nathan the Wise, The Tartuffe) and Peter Wittenberg (Three Times Live) . Since the end of the Bremen commitment, she has again only worked as a guest, e.g. at the National Theater in Mannheim, at the State Theater in Braunschweig, at the Theater in Aachen, at the Volkstheater in Vienna and at the Theater in Augsburg.
