The English language in the comments has been ruined for months; when will it be fixed?

Example :The GIFs I’ve posted here are the result of hundreds of attempts like this. As you can imagine, it doesn’t always work out — in fact, it rarely does.

Use standard characters.

a-z , A-Z and 0-9

So, if the word you want to type is don't - use dont

Use of the 7-bit ASCII code is not really the solution. UTF-8 exists. And You know that its (it is) a problem with your database settings. You know it because I told you so. It began with the gallery titles and then became worse and worse.

Fun fact: Here it still seems to work correctly.

The thing is, there are a lot of languages and keyboards that will make the gallery titles look out of whack.

When you publish a gallery there is an option to view it from the upload page. If it doesn't look right you need to fix it.

Sadly the people who have this specific problem won't read the forums.

Once in a while I will rename the galleries when I am browsing. That is rare though.

And if the profile text / PM text / comment text looks right but is ruined after it's sent?

Come on. There are a lot different languages and keyboards? BS. There are exactly 1.114.112 characters and UTF-8 can display them all.

The problem is that your database engine somewhere scrambles the characters.
