Error trying to access chat?

Has anyone else hit the issue of trying to access the chat and coming up with the following error message?

Can't create user. Server exceeds safe user limit. Contact your administrator with:
ERROR_SAFETY_LIMITS_EXCEEDED.

I tried searching for the message here and it came back blank.

When trying to login via the Mattermost desktop app it opens a browser for token authentication and I get the following error message:
Failed to retrieve session from Memcached

Perhaps you should read some of the newer threads about "chat"? Mattermost is the old chat which was shut down aeons ago.

IDK why it's still behind the link for the chat. That's something you must ask support. The new chat is mentioned somewhere here in the forum.

I assumed asking in 'help and support' WAS asking support. Is there another?
