foto format question

are vertical phoneshots or portrait format photos ok to upload? I've experienced some difficulty today with my uploads!

Hi,

We don't do anything except shrink the pictures to thumbnails.

If you take the picture with your phone sideways / landscape then that is how we will show your pictures.

Some people will say "Hey, it looks ok on my phone!"

True. Because the phone shows you the pictures "Auto Rotated". So even though you see the pictures normally, in fact they are inverted 90 degrees. And that is how we will show them.
