Unable to Delete Images From Favorites

In your case the thumbnail for Uncategorized is there because you have two galleries active in that folder. If the folder was empty I could fix it.

I've had the same issue. I click delete and it then shows un-delete (which is a great idea encase you made a mistake) although it never true deletes or removes the photo. Thereby throwing off the photo in relations to the album view. I get the delete to un-delete but it should completely delete once you save the album. Or remove from favorites if it is someones else's photo.

I am going to bump this thread. Sometimes when I try to delete an image from favorites, it seems like it worked fine. But when I return to the same folder later, the images I tried to delete (or move) are still there.

A few things on this favorites or deleting pictures, comments or anything like that. Most of the time I will simply log in to your account, do the deletion, log out and I am done with it.

Remember - I am logged in as YOU, not Admin. So this tells us something is messed up on your end. Likely some type of extension, add-on or script which is blocking (or fucking up) the deletion process.

I can't possibly check every browser or extension that exists. So little work is needed from you if you really need something deleted.

The easiest way is for you to open a new incognito or private window. What that does, or is supposed to do, is stop all extensions you have running in your browser.

Next is to make sure you are accepting all cookies. I had one guy tell me he would not do that. My reply was "2bad4u".

In extreme cases you could try another browser. Although I have never personally had to do that. But try it if you have another browser installed.

And lastly, if you are on a public VPN, TOR or something like that - jump off for a moment. Do your deletion then reconnect.

That is it! There is no other solutions. No I can't help you any more. Deletions do work. It's something on your end.

If you need a certain picture deleted from your favorites I know this can sometimes be an issue. Mostly because of a gallery you deleted which left a stray picture behind.

Instead of having the IT guys spend days trying to fix it, just email me with the location of something you need fixed.
