in not a facebook problem, is a man that steal the info and pics of a profile on facebok, now this man is using the sister of the last girl. can any do something? or stealing id is ok here?
Aaaah, okay, I get it now. Someone you know on facebook has had their identity and their photo's used to create a profile on this website without their consent, right? Someone on here is pretending to be your friend.
There are a few steps to follow.
1) Go through the galleries and flag them all.
2) Get your friend to send an email to admin with a link to the facebook page confirming that the profile and pictures belong to her.
There are a few things you should consider first. 1) Perhaps it actually IS your friend on here. 2) Anything posted on the internet is fair game. If your friend doesn't like her images appearing on here or anywhere she should adjust her privacy settings. 3) Chances are that the guy who set up the profile is a facebook friend of your friend. Perhaps she should choose her friends more carefully.
Technically though it couldn't be considered stealing. Could be considered identity theft, but seeing as the images were obviously freely available online in the first place there's really nothing that can be done. There's be nothing to stop a banned profile being re-started under a different name with the same pics in it. It's a losing battle, and should be a lesson to your friend about what content she puts online.
Hope this helps.
